Message from the President

It has been a difficult but very rewarding venture for so many years, promoting Asia and its myriad natural, cultural and historical attractions, not to mention the many World Heritage sites. We have been contributing to the growth of tourism to the Orient, especially China, for over 19 years, and we've yet not reached the zenith of this growth.

The year 2007 was a milestone for Asia Journeys, with our programs emphasizing the more exotic, off-the-beaten-path, of this wondrous part of the world. The success of Asia Journeys 2007 has been gratifying and we extend our thanks and welcome back, those of you who have traveled with us before. Our special thanks to the travel agents and travel counselors, the colleagues of Asia Journeys, who continue to guide you and consult with you, be it your first or fifth trip with Asia Journeys.

This year, we are again offering these fascinating destinations, but with more opportunities to visit not only one or two great destinations, but arranged in a manner to take advantage of the flexible air fares we have been able to negotiate. For instance, you may visit Bangkok and add an extension or option to visit Hong Kong, or Shanghai or Beijing or Tokyo with little or no additional air fare.
