Day 1 West Coast – Shanghai
Depart from the West Coast to Shanghai.
Day 2 Arrival in Shanghai (D)

Day 3 Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Featured Excursions: Shanghai Museum, Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden and Old Shanghai Bazaar

Your sightseeing this morning starts at the Shanghai Museum, which houses 120,000 cultural artifacts. After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the Yu Garden and Old Shanghai Bazaar.
Day 4 Shanghai – Suzhou (AB, L, D)
Featured Excursions: The Garden of the Master of the Nets, Hanshan Temple, and Embroidery Institute

After breakfast, transfer to Suzhou, famous for its classical Chinese gardens. Visit the Garden of the Master of the Nets, Hanshan Temple and the Embroidery Institute. Accommodation at Sofitel Suzhou Hotel 5* or similar.
Day 5 Suzhou – Hangzhou (AB, L, D)
Featured Excursions: Boat ride on the West Lake, and Dragon Well Tea Plantation
After breakfast, transfer to Hangzhou, a famed scenic, historical and cultural city. Enjoy a boat ride on the famed West Lake and visit the Dragon Well Tea Plantation. Accommodations at the Sofitel West Lake Hangzhou Hotel 5* or similar.

Day 6 Hangzhou – Yichang (AB, L, D)
Featured Excursions: Yangtze River Dam Site

Transfer to airport and board your flight to Yichang. Visit the Three Gorges Dam site and after dinner board the Orient Royal Cruise ship for your cruise of the awesome Yangtze River. Your cruise starts tonight.
Day 7 Cruising the Yangtze River (AB, L, D)
Featured Excursions: Qutang Gorge/Wu Gorge, Xiling Gorge, Daning River Small Gorges or Shennong Stream

Enjoy your cruise through the 3 gorges, Qutang Gorge /Wu Gorge and the Xiling Gorge. There will also be an excursion to Daning River Small Gorges or Shennong Stream.
Day 8 Cruising the Yangtze River (AB, L, D)
Featured Excursions: Fengdu or Shibaozhai
Shore excursion to Fengdu or Shibaozhai. Sail along the Yangtze with its vertical limestone cliffs and beautiful scenery.

Relax and enjoy the local scenery along the Yangtze River today.
Day 10 Disemark Chongqing – Xi’an (AB, L, D)
Featured Excursions: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Ancient City Walls
Disembark at Chongqing and board an afternoon flight to Xi’an, a historic city, which has been the capital of China for 13 of China’s imperial dynasties. Enjoy an afternoon city tour to the Ancient City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the emblem of Xi’an city, built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty. Accommodations at Sheraton Hotel 5* or similar.

Day 11 Xi’an (AB, L, SD)
Featured Excursions: Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum, Shaanxi Provincial Museum
Today visit one of the great sights of Ancient China, the 7,000 life-size Terra-cotta warriors and horses which guarded the emperor’s burial site for over 2,000 years. After lunch visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, which holds some of the great treasures of this historic area. Tonight enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Dinner opera show, performing the original music and dancing of the Tang Dynasty. Accommodations at the Hyatt Hotel 5* or similar.

Day 12 Xi’an – Beijing (AB, L, D)
Featured Excursions: Temple of Heaven
This morning fly to Beijing, capital city of China. After arrival, you are met by our local guide and transferred to your hotel. We will start your visit to Beijing with a visit to The Temple of Heaven, where emperors prayed for a better harvest. Accommodations at the Sofitel Wanda Beijing 5* or similar.

Day 13 Beijing (AB, L, SD)
Featured Excursions: Tiananmen Square, Lama Temple, Forbidden City, HuTong Tour and Beijing Roast Duck Dinner
After breakfast visit to the world’s largest public square, Tiananmen Square. Next you will walk to The Forbidden City, the palace home of the Ming and Qing Dynasty Emperors for over 500 years. After lunch, visit the Lama Temple. The Yonghe Lamasery is the largest and best preserved lamasery outside of Tibet. Then take the HuTong tour, a Pedi cab tour through the ancient streets and courtyards of Beijing. This evening enjoy a welcome banquet featuring a traditional Beijing Roast Duck dinner. Accommodations at the Sofitel Wanda Beijing 5* or similar.

Day 14 Beijing (AB, L, D)
Featured Excursions: Great Wall, Summer Palace, Olympic Site, and “Legend of Kong Fu”
Today’s highlight is an excursion to the Great Wall, an astonishing feat of engineering and one of the World Heritages listed by UNESCO. This afternoon pass by the Olympic Site and visit The Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China. The initial construction of the Summer Palace was started in 1750, commissioned by Emperor Qinglong as a gift for his mother’s birthday. Tonight after dinner, enjoy your Acrobatics Show or the amazing show, “Legend of Kung Fu”. Accommodations at the Sofitel Wanda Beijing 5* or similar.

Day 15 Beijing – West Coast (AB)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the USA. Arrive the same day.
